Crystal Thompson, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Crystal started their career as a Secretary at Northern Neck Technical Center from September 2000 to August 2002. Crystal then worked at McLeod & Company, where they completed fall and spring internships focusing on auditing educational institutions, employee benefits, and tax preparations for various clients.

In 2006, Crystal joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Staff Auditor, where they worked until December 2007. During their time there, they gained experience in auditing and financial analysis.

In 2008, Crystal joined Kositzka, Wicks & Company as a Supervisor, responsible for overseeing 4 accountants' schedules and 13 client groups, primarily Government Contractors. Crystal'sresponsibilities included internal control, bookkeeping, general ledger analysis, payroll filing review, tax return review, as well as audit and compilation engagement review. Crystal worked in this role until November 2013.

Since November 2013, Crystal has been working at APCO Worldwide, first as a Senior Corporate Accountant and currently as the Corporate Finance and Tax Manager. In these roles, they have been involved in financial management, tax planning, and reporting.

Throughout their career, Crystal has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, accounting, tax, and audit. Crystal is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has continuously expanded their skills and responsibilities in corporate finance and tax management.

Crystal Thompson, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Information Systems from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. In February 2009, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant designation from the Virginia Board of Accountancy.
