Derik Barseghian

Derik Barseghian has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Derik started their career at Stark Consulting, LLC in 2003 as a Software Developer. In 2007, they transitioned to the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS) where they worked as a Software Developer until 2013.

In 2014, Derik joined Strata IT, Inc as a Senior Application Engineer and later became the Director of Operations in 2015, leaving the company in 2016. Derik then joined Patagonia as a QA Analyst/Tester in 2016 and progressed to the role of Software QA Engineer from 2017 to 2018.

Derik currently works at Apeel since 2020, initially as a Software Engineer and now holds the position of Senior Software Engineer.

Derik Barseghian obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1999 to 2003.
