Apeel Sciences was founded by James Rogers and Andrew Goldsmith, who met while studying at UC Santa Barbara. Both of them have experience in the business world, with Rogers having worked as an advisor at Beeflow and CrossnoKaye and Goldsmith having worked as the vCFO at Consultant. The two of them also have experience on various boards, such as the Board of Trustees at the Santa Barbara Foundation and the Board of Directors at the UCSB Alumni Association. In addition, Rogers is a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum.
