Sameet Mohanty

Sameet Mohanty has a long and varied work experience. Sameet began their career in 2011 as a Research Intern at The University of Texas at Austin, where they developed MATLAB software to automatically detect certain features in medical scans, isolate these, and generate 3D models from a series of 2D images. In 2013, they became a Mobile Application Developer at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where they collaborated with medical professionals to gather requirements regarding neonatal public health needs in India and developed an iOS app that supports readable content, videos and downloadable material. In 2015, they held two positions simultaneously, a Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, where they designed digital logic, breadboard, and assembly programming labs for students and an Enterprise Business Intelligence Tools (IT) Intern at Humana, where they created a dashboard to present PSM operations metrics in a concise, insightful and user-friendly manner. In 2016, they joined Cisco as a Software Engineer II, where they developed data APIs in Node.js which enables internal and external clients to consume employee data based on customizable scopes and designed and implemented an event streaming platform which provides various employee updates in real-time. Sameet then moved to Bolster, Inc in 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer and is currently employed at Apella as a Software Engineer since 2022.

Sameet Mohanty attended Purdue University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended American Embassy School.
