Federico Grossi is currently the Executive Vice President Clinical Development & Medical Affairs at Apellis Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they were with Potentia Pharmaceuticals for 6 years, where they led the development of a Phase Ia clinical program for a complement inhibitor in Healthy Volunteers and a Phase Ib proof-of-concept study for a complement inhibitor in patients with mild asthma. Grossi has also served as a Product development consultant for Eastwood Naturals and as an Early-stage Clinical Research Consultant for an Independent Consultant.

Federico Grossi earned their PhD in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Federico then went on to earn their MD from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Medicine.

Federico Grossi reports to Cedric Francois, CEO & co-Founder. They work with Chris Holmes - Vice President, Cmc Operations, Thomas Lackner - Senior Vice President, Head of Europe, and Lukas Scheibler - Executive Vice President Research and Translational Medicine.
