Josh Hudson

Josh Hudson has a strong background in talent acquisition and recruiting. Josh is currently working as the Head of Talent at Apera AI since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Meta as a Senior Technical Recruiter from October 2021 to April 2023. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting Data Scientists in North America and played a crucial role in candidate interview prep, negotiation of offers, and onboarding. Before their time at Meta, Josh worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Splunk from June 2021 to October 2021. Josh also had a significant tenure at Amazon, where they held the role of Client Lead Recruiter for AWS from February 2020 to June 2021. At Amazon, Josh was involved in client management, developing recruiting strategies, and building new teams in Canada and the US. In 2004, they enrolled at the University of Guelph where they pursued a degree in Business Management, Psychology, and Sociology, although the completion of their degree is not specified. From 2008 to 2014, Josh attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Human Resources Management Certificate. Josh went on to acquire a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Thompson Rivers University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015.
