Russell Durrett

Russell Durrett has worked in the biotechnology industry for over a decade. In 2022, they began their current role as Head of Alliances at Aperiam Bio. Prior to this, they were the Chief Scientific Officer and Director of Bioinformatics at Recombine from 2013 to 2022. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Research Specialist and Research Tech at Weill Cornell Medical College. Before this, they were a Research Tech at New York University from 2010 to 2011.

Russell Durrett completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Anthropology from New York University in 2010. Russell then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Biotechnology & Entrepreneurship from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, graduating in 2014. Finally, they completed their Graduate Studies in Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2020.
