Tony Smith

Tony Smith has a wide range of work experience spanning several decades. Tony currently serves as a Senior Program Manager at Aperio Global, LLC, where they focus on delivering innovation, interoperability, and integration across various technological capabilities. Prior to this, Tony held various roles at Microsoft, including Senior Program Manager and Sr. Project Manager. During their time at Microsoft, they led multiple cloud service programs and pilot initiatives and introduced Agile methodologies. Before joining Microsoft, Tony worked as a Program Manager at Ian, Evan & Alexander Corp (IEA), where they managed a contract and led a team responsible for providing remote desktop services and collaborating with Microsoft on operational testing. Tony also worked as a Program Manager at Freedom Consulting Group, Inc., overseeing technology programs for the Intelligence Community and implementing Waterfall methodologies. Tony's earlier experience includes roles at Optimal Enterprise Solutions, The Aerospace Corporation, Engility Corporation (formerly TASC), Lockheed Martin, and the Central Intelligence Agency, where they held positions of increasing responsibility and gained expertise in areas such as service management, project engineering, and software development.

Tony Smith has a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Information Technology from Strayer University.
