Sujay Sahoo

Sujay Sahoo is a software engineer who currently works at Aperio Group. Prior to their current position, Sujay worked as a software engineer at Altron from November 2016 to June 2019. While at Altron, Sujay was a full stack developer in a Scrum/Agile environment and was responsible for upgrading the Extjs framework to a newer version, maintaining and configuring lab production environments and servers, writing new pages from scratch, including database migrations, and developing software using Hibernate and Jackson to enter and retrieve data from a relational database.

Before their time at Altron, Sujay worked as a private tutor at Varsity Tutors from June 2016 to November 2016 where they tutored clients in programming languages, mathematics, and science fields.

Sujay began their career as an intern at IBM in May 2014 where they worked as a software engineer. While at IBM, Sujay worked with technology environments such as Java 7 IDE, MySql, and DB2. Sujay's responsibilities included using MySql to input large amounts of data into different Tivoli Software and Products and sorting through DB2 databases to find errors from replication. Sujay also used Java 7 IDE to report and fix replication errors in the Tivoli DB2 databases.

Sujay Sahoo graduated with a B.S in Quantitative Biology and Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sujay is currently working as a software engineer.
