Frederico Von Pinho

VP, Transmission at Apex Clean Energy

Frederico Von Pinho is the current Vice President of Transmission at Apex Clean Energy. Prior to their current position, they held various positions at NextEra Energy Resources, University of Texas at Arlington, PJM Interconnection, and PwrSolutions, Inc.

Frederico Von Pinho began their career in 1998 as a System Designer at Medusa S/A. In 2006, they transitioned to PwrSolutions, Inc. as a Senior Engineer - Power System Planning. In this role, Frederico led a team of engineers responsible for performing various studies required to assess the financial/economical proforma of new and existing assets in various markets.

In 2011, Frederico left PwrSolutions to join PJM Interconnection as a Senior Engineer. During their time at PJM Interconnection, Frederico was responsible for various engineering tasks related to the electrical grid.

In 2015, Frederico left PJM Interconnection to join NextEra Energy Resources as a Project Director. During their time at NextEra Energy Resources, Frederico was responsible for managing and executing various projects related to the electrical grid.

In 2021, Frederico left NextEra Energy Resources to join Apex Clean Energy as the Vice President of Transmission. In this role, Frederico is responsible for leading the Transmission team and executing various projects related to the electrical grid.

Frederico Von Pinho has a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Power Systems from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Their manager is Mark Goodwin, President & CEO. Frederico Von Pinho works with Jeanine Wolanski - SVP, Land Management, John Bahouth - EVP, Administration, and John Stone - SVP, Project Management.
