Kristen Sebasky

Kristen Sebasky has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kristen is currently working at Apex Clean Energy as the New Markets Regional Lead for the MISO and WECC regions. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior New Markets Project Analyst at the same company. Before joining Apex Clean Energy, Kristen worked as an Environmental Scientist at ESS Group, Inc., where they conducted environmental assessments and prepared permit applications for offshore wind energy and submarine cable projects. Earlier in their career, they worked at Industrial Economics, Incorporated in roles such as Associate, Junior Associate, and Research Analyst, primarily focusing on program evaluation of environmental programs related to energy efficiency and high-performance buildings. Kristen has also gained research experience as a Volunteer at the University of Queensland and as a Research Assistant at Jornada Experimental Range, where they conducted research on desert ecology and greenhouse gases. Kristen started their career as a Research Assistant in the Green Chemistry Lab at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and also worked as an Intern at SalesQuest.

Kristen Sebasky obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology with a focus on the Environment from Brown University in 2010. In 2009, they took part in a study abroad program at the University of Queensland. Kristen later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Sciences and Policy at The Johns Hopkins University from 2014 to 2016.
