Stephanie van Kempen

Stephanie Van Kempen is an experienced Energy Assessment Manager at Apex Clean Energy since December 2022, previously serving as the Wind Resource Assessment Technical Leader at GE Renewable Energy from July 2018 to November 2022. In this role, Stephanie led wind resource analysis for numerous projects, focusing on improving project risk management and result accuracy through high-quality data and streamlined processes. Prior experience includes key positions at UL and AWS Truepower, where Stephanie managed teams, optimized project financial values, and contributed to the development of methodologies and tools for wind and solar energy assessments. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Forest Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, earned between 2006 and 2009.
