Long Hei

Long Hei has a wealth of experience in the field of data science. They began their career as a Givens Associate at Argonne National Laboratory in 2003, followed by positions as a Financial Engineer and Educator at Chicago Trading Company and a Research and Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University. In 2010, Long Hei joined Enova Financial as a Senior Associate of Advanced Analytics, later transitioning to the role of Manager. After that, they held positions at ORBITZ as both a Manager and Senior Manager in Advanced Analytics. In 2016, Long Hei became the Director of Data Science at CCC Information Services before moving on to a similar role at SpotHero in 2019. They then served as the Head of Data at Photomath until 2022 and are currently the Director of Data Science at Apex Fintech Solutions.

Long Hei completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computational Mathematics from Peking University from 1994 to 1998. From 1998 to 2001, Hei pursued a Master of Science degree in Computational Mathematics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Subsequently, Hei attended Northwestern University from 2001 to 2007, where they obtained a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences.
