Mandi Das

Mandi Das has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering field since 2011. Mandi began their career as a Summer Intern at Ericsson, where they studied wireless communication and channel concepts. In 2013, they were an Engineering Trainee at RV-VLSI VLSI and Embedded Systems Design Center, where they worked on a mini project to understand the flow of RTL to GDS. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Silabtech Private Limited (now known as Silicon And Beyond Private Limited), Altran, and Qualcomm as a Layout Engineer, Layout Design Engineer, and Design Engineer, respectively. During their time at the University of Virginia from 2017 to 2022, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant and worked on energy-efficient hardware design for deep neural network accelerators in collaboration with IBM T. J. Watson Research Center.

Mandi Das obtained their 12th degree from Salt Brook Academy, Dibrugarh in English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Mandi then went on to pursue their B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from National Institute of Technology Silchar from 2008 to 2012. Afterward, they received their Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Virginia in 2019. Mandi also holds an EXCEL Telecom Professional Certificate from Ericsson.
