Senior UX Designer at Apexon

Camille Kulanda has a diverse work experience across various industries. Camille most recently worked at Apexon as a Senior UX Designer, where they developed and maintained wireframes, mockups, and design systems for clients such as Barricade Flasher Service, Snooze Eatery, Cars.com, RRD, Cerqlar, and LoyaltyMethods. Before that, they were a UX Designer at Saggezza/Infostretch, which later merged with Apexon in July 2022.

Prior to their role at Apexon, Camille worked at CarAdvise as a UIUX and Graphic Designer. There, they designed the look and function of digital media, including product, website, graphics, and email campaigns. Camille also created design mockups, prototypes, process flows, and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas. Additionally, they contributed to product improvements and projects for internal and external clients.

Camille has also gained valuable experience through internships and volunteer work. Camille worked as a Web Design Volunteer at Reinvented Magazine and as a Graphic Design Intern at Inclusive America, where they redesigned decks, used design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva, and assisted with social media strategy and content creation.

During their Design Internship at Fortress Consulting, Camille designed digital and print assets, including billboard designs, logos, web design, and responsive design. Camille focused on human-centered design and incorporated current design trends.

Earlier in their career, Camille worked as a Clinical Center Materials Librarian at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, assisting clinicians with finding and retrieving materials and providing basic IT support. Camille also gained customer service experience as a Customer Service Representative at Micro Center.

Furthermore, Camille has demonstrated their passion for education and engineering through their role as an Intern/Junior Guide at BitSpace, where they taught kids ages 6-12+ how to build and assemble engineering projects and learn coding and game design using Unity, Blender, and Fusion 360.

Finally, Camille worked as a Photographer at Shoreline Sightseeing and completed a summer internship at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
