Carlos Enrique Perez

Carlos Enrique Perez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Carlos Enrique is currently serving as the Vice President, Corporate Controller at APi Group, a global business services provider. In this role, they are responsible for various financial functions such as corporate accounting, public financial/SEC reporting, internal audit, SOX compliance, corporate planning and analysis, and financial systems.

Prior to their current position, Carlos worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Natgasoline LLC, the largest methanol facility in North America. Here, they oversaw all aspects of finance, including accounting, costing, controlling, treasury and financing, and financial planning and analysis.

Carlos also held multiple positions at ChampionX, where they served as the Vice President of Finance for the Chemical Technologies division. In this role, they led a large finance team supporting a global specialty chemicals segment, covering commercial finance, business partnering, financial planning and analysis, supply chain finance, accounting and control, and mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining ChampionX, Carlos worked at Ecolab in various finance leadership roles. These included positions such as VP Upstream Business Controller, where they led financial activities during the successful spin-off of the Chemical Technologies segment into a separate public company. Carlos Enrique also served as the VP of Finance for Global OFC at NalcoChampion, where they managed global finance, controlling, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial finance activities for the oil field chemical division.

Carlos began their career at Cydsa Corporativo as a Senior Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis and later worked at Metalsa in New Business Development focused on commercial finance.

Throughout their career, Carlos has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and global finance operations. Carlos Enrique'sexperience spans various industries, including business services, chemicals, energy, and manufacturing.

Carlos Enrique Perez completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 1996. Carlos Enrique then pursued an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, which they completed in 2004.
