Christos Petridis

Christos Petridis is a self-employed civil engineer with expertise in seismic risk assessment, currently operating Christos N. Petridis since January 2019. Since October 2016, Christos has been engaged as a researcher at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, focusing on seismic risk. Previous experience includes a position in the ICT department of NATO's Rapid Deployable Corps from November 2015 to August 2016 during military service, as well as an internship at Terra et Domus in July 2012 involving the restoration of buildings and monuments. Christos holds a Ph.D. in earthquake risk assessment from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, alongside a Master’s Degree in Earthquake Engineering & Seismic Design of Structures and a Diploma-MEng equivalent in Civil Engineering (Structural Division). Education was supplemented by studies at various prestigious institutions, including Warsaw University of Technology, Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, and Politecnico di Milano.
