Ioannis Vlahavas

Ioannis Vlahavas is a prominent academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the fields of artificial intelligence and computer science. Currently serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of RealMINT, an AUTH spin-off company focused on AI solutions, Vlahavas also holds a professorship in the Department of Informatics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a position maintained since March 1990. Vlahavas contributed to the governance of the International Hellenic University as a member of the Governing Board from February 2020 to December 2021, and previously served as Dean of the School of Science and Technology from 2007 to 2016. Additionally, Vlahavas was the Chair of the Board of the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society from January 2011 to January 2013. Vlahavas earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
