Alexei Akimov

Alexei Akimov has a diverse work experience in the field of data analysis and database management. Alexei worked as a Senior BI/DataMart Analyst at Accommodations Plus International (API) where they were responsible for data validation, ETL lineage, and root issue debugging. Prior to that, they were a Data Analyst and ETL Developer at Dealer-FX Group, Inc, where they worked on BI, DW, and data analysis using Qlikview/Qliksense. Alexei also worked as a SQL Solutions Engineer at Amaya Software, handling various responsibilities such as ETL development, modeling, DB design, and analysis. Additionally, they had experience as a SQL Server Production DBA at MARKETREND Inc., a DBA and SQL Engineer at American Express Canadian Solutions Centre, and a DB Modeler and ETL developer at TRAVELEX Inc., where they were involved in DB design, ETL, T-SQL, and VB and PB development. Alexei also worked as an ETL Developer at Incubed and a Consultant at CGI GROUP INC. In their consultant role, they contributed to the development of the Colliers On-Line Real Estate System (CORE) using T-SQL, ETL, Crystal Reports, and VB6.0.

Alexei Akimov started their education in 1998 at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Physics. This program lasted until 1999. Prior to attending university, Alexei completed their secondary education at a school in St. Petersburg, Russia. Although they did not obtain a degree from secondary school, they specialized in English at an advanced level.

In addition to their formal education, Alexei obtained certifications in the field of information technology. Alexei acquired the OCP certification from Oracle in June 2004. Alexei also obtained certifications from Microsoft, specifically MCDBA and MCSD, although the specific dates are not available.
