Himashi de Mel

Himashi De Mel is a Senior Lecturer at APIIT Sri Lanka since May 2021, previously serving as a Senior Visiting Lecturer and Assistant Manager Academic Affairs cum Lecturer at the Business Management School from October 2013 to May 2021. Demonstrated expertise includes managing external quality assurance audits, internal verification of academic processes, and development of assessment materials, along with lecturing in various subjects. Prior experience encompasses roles as a Business Consultant at McQuire Rens Global Consulting and a Trainee Management Accountant at eChannelling PLC, where skills in internal auditing and management reporting were developed. Himashi De Mel holds a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from the University of Moratuwa and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Northumbria University, with ongoing education in Teaching in Higher Education from Colombo University.
