Philip Tull has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Philip started their career in the United States Army, where they served as an active duty infantry officer and also specialized in System Acquisition Management, holding the ranks of Lieutenant and Captain. After their military service, Tull worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Senior Associate, where they provided financial restructuring and economic loss consulting services. Philip then joined BearingPoint as a Manager and Senior Consultant, where they managed IT projects for the U.S. Navy. Tull later worked at Deloitte as a Manager, leading the revamping of the strategic planning process for the Army's IT investments. Philip then moved on to BizFlow Corp. (formerly HandySoft) as a Program Manager, overseeing various projects and serving as a project and implementation manager for a data analytics management and reporting project. Tull then joined Alta Via Consulting, LLC as a Principal Consultant, where they focused on cost management requirements for a multi-billion-dollar SAP Business Intelligence project for the U.S. Army. Most recently, Tull has been working at ApiJect in roles such as Director of U.S. Government Contracts and VP of Government Projects and Government Contracts, responsible for managing the company's relationship with U.S. Government contract and program staff and overseeing the execution of contracts worth over $150 million.
Philip Tull's education history begins in 1985 when they enrolled in the United States Military Academy at West Point. Philip graduated from there in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Affairs and General Engineering.
After a break in their education, Philip returned to school in 1999 and attended the University of Notre Dame. Philip completed their studies in 2001 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.
In addition to their academic degrees, Philip has obtained several certifications. In 1989, they received a Secret Clearance from the United States Department of Defense. In 1996, they completed the Material Acquisition Management Course at the U.S. Army Logistics Management College. In 2004, they obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
Most recently, in 2016, Philip attained the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. In 2017, they became a Professional Scrum Master certified by Scrum.org. Philip also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, although the exact details of its acquisition are not provided.
