Sofia N Shino- Nambahu

Sofia N Shino-Nambahu serves as a Development Finance Specialist at UNDP since August 2021, with a concurrent role as a Fellow in the Africa Infrastructure Fellowship Program (AIFP) aimed at enhancing public infrastructure procurement in Africa. Previously, Sofia contributed to the PPP Unit promoting private investment in infrastructure development in Namibia and worked as a Senior Economist at the Ministry of Finance. Experience includes a visiting fellowship at Société Générale focused on sustainable growth initiatives and various roles at the Namibia Statistics Agency, where responsibilities included compiling national economic statistics. Educational qualifications comprise a Master's in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School, Project Finance studies at London Business School, and multiple degrees in Economics from NUST Namibia and Polytechnic of Namibia.
