John Pepe Soto

John Pepe Soto is a highly experienced professional in defense analysis and portfolio management, currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at AMERICAN SYSTEMS since July 2016, where support is provided to the Department of the Air Force Test & Evaluation Special Programs Division. In addition, John has been a Senior Defense Analyst at Apogee Solutions, Inc. since July 2013, focusing on the HAF/TE in the Pentagon. Previous roles include positions at SAIC as an ISR Marketing Executive, where strategy development targeted Air Force and Navy Non-Traditional ISR markets, and at Northrop Grumman Corporation, developing strategies for airborne radar and sensors. John also served as a Senior Manager in Business Development at Raytheon, leading initiatives related to Air Force ISR requirements, and held the position of Senior Intelligence Officer at the Joint Combat Rescue Agency. An Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1979 to 1996, John has a Master of Diplomacy in International Terrorism from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from UCLA.
