Joel Edwards

Joel Edwards has extensive work experience in the research and development field. Joel started their career at Trendpac, where they worked as a Research & Development Chemist, focusing on formulation development for various products. Joel later became a Technical Manager, overseeing the technical aspects of product development and validation. Joel then joined Jalco as a Technical Manager, where they managed the technical development, production, and enhancement of home and personal care products. Joel was responsible for creating cutting-edge and cost-effective formulations. Following this, they worked as a Sole Proprietor at Edwards Formulations, providing consultation services to the consumer packaged goods industry and offering formulation development and guidance. Currently, Joel is the Vice President of Research & Development at Apollo Health and Beauty Care, where they lead the research and development team and ensures the development of high-quality products. Throughout their career, Joel has acquired expertise in formulating innovative products and achieving cost effectiveness.

Joel Edwards completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Environmental Science at the University of Newcastle from 1998 to 2000. Joel then pursued a Diploma in Cosmetic Science at De Montfort University from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Newcastle to pursue a Masters degree in Chemistry, which they completed in 2010.
