Kayla Drake has a diverse work experience in marketing and events management. Kayla started their career as an intern at Internet Marketing Inc., where they specialized in SEO and social media. Kayla then worked as an Account Executive at Yelp.com before joining Codexis, Inc. as a Marketing Associate, where they were responsible for in-house marketing campaigns and social media strategies. Kayla then joined Ustream, which was later acquired by IBM, where they served as a Marketing Coordinator and later as a Marketing Events Manager for IBM's Watson Media unit. Kayla also managed social media presence and collaborated in rebranding advertisements. After their time at IBM, Kayla worked at Autodesk and its subsidiary BuildingConnected as a Senior Field Marketing Manager and a Tradeshow & Events Marketing Manager, respectively. Most recently, they held positions at Udemy, first as a Global Event Marketing Manager, and then as a Senior Global Event Marketing Manager. Currently, Kayla is employed as the Director of Field Marketing at Apollo.io, where they lead the field marketing initiatives.
