Anand Suryanarayan

Anand Suryanarayan is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as Principal for APAC Credit at Apollo Global Management since October 2022. Prior to this role, Anand spent 15 years at Deutsche Bank, where positions included Director of Credit Solutions and Director of Special Situations, focusing on portfolio finance, ESG-linked structures, and special situation financing in Asia. Anand's earlier roles at Deutsche Bank also encompassed underwriting and structuring in the shipping and renewable energy sectors. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Anand held positions at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Citi, contributing to significant financing deals such as advising on a $4.7 billion LNG vessel financing recognized as the Project Finance Deal of the Year in 2006. Anand holds an MBA in Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
