Samantha Lai, PhD

Samantha Lai, PhD has a long and varied career in the pharmaceutical industry. Samantha began their career in 1997 as a Project Manager for Patheon. In 2000, they joined Pfizer Inc. as an Associate Director and Manager of Business Development for Capsugel, Pfizer Inc. In 2007, they moved to Geron Corporations as Program Director. In 2010, they became Executive Director of Project Management and Project Leader for China Life Cycle Management at FibroGen. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Apollomics as Vice President of Program Management.

Samantha Lai holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics from The School of Pharmacy, University of London, as well as a BPharm in Pharmacy from the same institution. Samantha completed their secondary education at Bedford High School in the UK and their primary education at Sacred Heart Canossian College in Hong Kong.
