Matthias Friese is an experienced professional in the logistics and technology sectors, currently serving as the Founding Partner at XPRESS Ventures since September 2020. At XPRESS Ventures, a pre-seed investor and log-tech company builder backed by FIEGE Logistics, Matthias combines a legacy of operational excellence with digital expertise to support transformative ventures. Simultaneously, Matthias holds the position of Director at FIEGE, a leading European logistics company with a workforce of over 15,000, and serves on the advisory boards of Logistikbude, HomeRide, and Apothera GmbH. Additionally, Matthias has invested in companies such as Zenfulfillment and Smace, and previously co-founded and led patronus.io, specializing in automated web security. Matthias holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing.) in Nachrichtentechnik from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
