Karlie Shook

Karlie Shook has over 10 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry. Karlie began their career in 2010 as an Accounts Payable Clerk and Accounting Intern at HRI, INC. In 2014, they moved to HRI Bridge Co. as a Staff Accountant. In 2015, they returned to HRI, INC. as an Estimator. In 2017, they joined Appalachia Intermediate Unit 08 as the Assistant Director of Business Programs & Services and Fiscal Manager. In their roles, they have managed budgets, conducted bank reconciliations, prepared financial reports, supervised accounts payable clerks, and estimated quantities and costs of materials, equipment, and labor.

Karlie Shook obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Accounting from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania between 2009 and 2013. Karlie also completed a Minor in Dance during the same time period. In 2020, they earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Lindsey Wilson College.
