Jim Powell

Jim Powell is currently the Grants & Strategic Corporate Partnerships at APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT INC. Prior to that, they were the Director Of Development at Home Works of America from December 2013 to September 2018. Jim also served as the Executive Director of Home Works of America from December 2013 to December 2016. Additionally, they were the Associate Pastor at Blythewood Presbyterian Church from December 2013 to December 2016. Jim Powell has also been a Pastor and Church Planter at West Valley Presbyterian Church from January 2008 to November 2013, an Associate Pastor at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church from August 2006 to December 2007, and a Pastor at Harmony Presbyterian Church from May 2003 to July 2006.

Jim Powell holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Bachelor's degree from Carson-Newman University. Jim's focus is on theology and history/political science.
