Kathleen Bailey

Kathleen Bailey currently serves as the Advancement Manager and Grants Coordinator at Appalachian Voices since December 2020. From August 2018, Kathleen has been an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher with VIPKid. Previously, from September 2015 to September 2019, Kathleen held the positions of Recruitment Operations Lead and later Recruitment and Community Outreach Associate at Fenway Community Health, where key responsibilities included managing clinical trial recruitment operations and implementing outreach strategies. Earlier roles include Community Health Educator at Planned Parenthood South Atlantic from April 2012 to August 2015 and Civic Engagement Intern, where Kathleen focused on voter registration initiatives. Other experience includes positions as a Nanny, Office Manager, Data Entry Specialist, and Recreation Assistant. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Virginia Tech, obtained in 2012.
