Niv Biran

Niv Biran has a diverse work experience. Niv started their career as a Commander in the Israeli Air Force from August 2012 to July 2015. Niv then joined IBM as a Data Engineer from April 2020 to April 2022, where they designed and implemented ETL processes and built scalable data pipelines using Python. After that, Niv worked at Cyren as a Backend & Big Data Engineer from April 2022 to February 2023, where they developed and designed products using Golang, Python, and micro-service architecture. Currently, they are working at AppCard, Inc. as a Backend Engineer since March 2023. Their responsibilities include designing and implementing new Python systems, building REST APIs, and working with Docker and AWS services.

Niv Biran completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Engineering & Information Systems from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering between 2018 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma with a major in Computer Science from Ahad Ha'am between 2010 and 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Niv Biran also obtained certifications in the field of technology. Niv completed the course "Taming Big Data with Apache Spark and Python" at Udemy in January 2022. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Python 3 from SoloLearn in September 2019.
