Lauren Gage

Lauren Gage is a Senior Linguist at Appen, involved in managing linguistic projects from scoping to delivery while heading the Text Annotation program for major global accounts. With prior experience as a Computational Linguist at WorldLink US for Samsung Research America and similar roles at Trilyon, Inc., Lauren has led US English text-to-speech efforts, coordinating evaluation tasks and collaborating with software engineers and product managers. Other roles include Lead Linguist at Appen and various positions focused on event staffing, communications, and data coordination. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Aromatherapy from the American College of Healthcare Sciences, a Master of Philosophy in Speech and Language Processing from Trinity College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Western Washington University.
