Øystein Bjering

Øystein Bjering has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Øystein currently holds the position of Chief Customer Officer at Appfarm, where they are responsible for overseeing customer relations. Prior to this, they served as the VP | Head of Solutions at Appfarm.

Before joining Appfarm, Bjering worked at Igaidi as a Senior Consultant | Innovation Guide, where they provided expertise in innovation and consulting services. Øystein also has experience at Genus AS, where they held the role of Head of Operations, overseeing various aspects of product development and customer relationships. Additionally, they served as the Business Engineering Manager at Genus AS, focusing on cloud services and project management.

Furthermore, Bjering has worked at Accedo AS | Genus Professional Services as a Consultant | Project Manager, leading teams and managing customer projects related to low-code software solutions. Øystein also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at Wireless Trondheim and as a Programmer at tautdanning.no.

In their early career, Bjering served as a Sales Director and Board Member at UKA, and they were part of the Norwegian Armed Forces' Norwegian Task Force, KFOR. Overall, Øystein Bjering brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their current role as Chief Customer Officer at Appfarm.

Øystein Bjering holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management with a specialization in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Øystein completed their studies at NTNU in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Øystein has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional skills. Øystein holds an Appfarm Professional Certification from Appfarm, which they obtained in February 2023. Øystein also holds an Appfarm Sales Representative Specialization certification, obtained from Appfarm in January 2023. Furthermore, Øystein has a certification in Appfarm Fundamentals from Appfarm, obtained in January 2022.

In terms of IT certifications, Øystein possesses an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert, obtained in 2019. Øystein also holds a PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Certificate in Agile Project Management from PeopleCert, obtained in 2018. Additionally, they have completed a UX Foundation course from UXTraining in 2018. Lastly, Øystein holds a PRINCE2 Practitioner Certificate in Project Management from PeopleCert, obtained in 2015.
