Anton Sergeev

Head of Product at Apphud

Anton Sergeev has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2010. In 2012, they began a personal project, "IT-Compot" Podcast, a show devoted to programming, IT, and related topics. In 2014, Sergeev joined The iFunny Team as a Highload backend developer and Talent Manager, participating in the backend development for the highload iFunny project and managing HR branding processes, recruiting, communication between departments, and development of people operations strategies. In 2016, Sergeev joined FunCorp as a Product Manager for iDaPrikol, an aggregator of funny and positive content for the Russian-speaking audience, and as Chief Administrative Officer, managing the operational processes in the office and billing/supporting all critical infrastructure services for the company's core product. In 2019, Sergeev became Founder of Blokky, a casual game in the unique setting of Lego pixel art with multi-layered puzzles. In 2020, Sergeev joined Apphud as Head of Product, gathering a team of professional engineers, stabilizing the infrastructure and migrating to the cloud, establishing regular releases process, launching a new landing page, and useful mini services for developers, cross-platform SDKs, A/B-tests, and scheduled push-campaigns tool. As a result of their efforts, the service uptime was kept at >99%.

Anton Sergeev obtained an Engineer's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Penza State University between 2003 and 2008. Anton also holds certifications from GoPractice, Inc and 10gen for GoPractice Simulator and M102: MongoDB for DBAs, respectively.
