Nij Patel

Nij Patel is currently the President and Events Coordinator of the Computer Science Club at the University of Pittsburgh, where responsibilities include planning and leading events for over 300 members and reviving a mentorship program. As an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the School of Computing and Information, Nij facilitates lab exercises and offers one-on-one support to students in programming and data structures. Previous internships at Appian Corporation and Prudential Financial involved significant contributions to software engineering projects, including migration automation and optimizing microservices, while internships at Fidelity Investments focused on frontend development and API integration. Nij also has experience as an Assistant Manager at Kumon North America and as a content creator on YouTube, achieving substantial viewership and subscriber growth. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Business, Nij continues to build a strong foundation in both technical and leadership skills.
