Richard Roman

Richard Roman has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Richard'smost recent position is as the Chief Development Officer and General Counsel at Appinium since March 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Partner at The Roman Firm P.L.L.C. since May 2005. Richard also held the position of Managing Principal at SPQR Ventures since January 2015 and Chief Executive Officer at Sirentec L.L.C. from December 2012 to March 2019.

Before their entrepreneurial roles, Richard worked as the E.V.P. General Counsel and Business Development Principal at Solusia from May 2005 to August 2011. Richard also served as a Senior Regional Counsel at PeopleSoft/Oracle from June 2004 to February 2005. Additionally, Richard gained experience as a Senior Counsel at Nortel Networks from February 1997 to May 2001. Richard began their legal career as an Associate Attorney, first at Norton Rose Fulbright from October 1991 to April 1995, and then at Jones Day from April 1995 to February 1997.

Richard's early professional experience includes serving as a Pilot in the US Navy from May 1982 to August 1988, where their specialization was in Command & Control Communications. Richard Roman completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Economics and Finance from Baylor University between 1979 and 1982. Richard then pursued further education at Southern Methodist University from 1988 to 1991, earning a Juris Doctor degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.
