Coleman Coats has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 as a Product Manager at Studio 800, where they helped make product decisions and worked at events. In 2014, they interned at XIFIN, Inc. in the marketing department, working with excel, conducting market research, and doing preliminary patent infringement research. Coleman then worked at Moonlight Deli and Dogs as a Food, Beverage, and Rental Attendant for two summers, doing food preparation, operating the register, and managing rental forms. In 2016, Coleman served as the Marketing Director at The M.I.X, developing marketing materials and running ad campaigns. In 2017, they briefly worked as a Marketing Manager at SmartPlant App in the U.K. and as a Marketing Intern at Direct Development, Inc. In 2018, Coleman joined Applause as a Marketing Operations Analyst, responsible for supporting sales and marketing lead generation, managing Marketo operations, and database segmentation. In 2019, they became a Digital Marketing Associate and then advanced to the role of Digital Marketing Specialist in 2022.
Coleman Coats completed their high school education and obtained a High School diploma from San Dieguito Academy in the years 2010 to 2014. Following that, they attended George Mason University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing. In 2016, Coleman had the opportunity to study abroad at KEDGE Business School, focusing on Marketing.
In addition to their formal education, Coleman has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2017, they completed the "Inbound Marketing" certification from HubSpot Academy and the "Google Analytics for Beginners" certification from Google. In 2018, they attained the certification in "Content Marketing" from HubSpot Academy. Furthermore, Coleman has pursued several online certifications like "Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google, "SQL Essential Training" from LinkedIn, "Becoming a Product Manager" from LinkedIn, and "SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis" from LinkedIn.
