Edgar Contreras Barón

Edgar Contreras Barón is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in technology management and project delivery within the hospitality and travel sectors. Currently serving as DMC Technology Delivery Manager at Apple Leisure Group since June 2023, Edgar previously held the position of IT Project Manager at Karisma Hotels & Resorts from April 2021 to July 2023. Prior to this, Edgar was the IT Director for the Americas at Discova / Flight Centre Travel Group from June 2018 to July 2020, and the IT Manager for Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica at Olympus Tours S.A de C.V from August 2011 to May 2018. Edgar also contributed to Hilton as an IT Manager and IT Assistant from May 2006 to August 2011. Edgar holds a Licenciatura in Ingeniería de sistemas from Instituto Tecnológico de Cancún, completed in 2005.
