Abhishek Narain

Abhishek Narain is an experienced engineering manager specializing in computer vision and machine learning, currently working at Apple since July 2020. Prior to this role, Abhishek served as a tech lead and computer vision engineer at Magic Leap from January 2017 to June 2020, where responsibilities included designing object recognition systems and leading algorithm research for Eye Tracking Technology. Abhishek's earlier experience includes significant positions at Intel Corporation as a staff software architect and technical manager from May 2007 to January 2017, contributing to video summarization, multi-modal computing frameworks, and GPU acceleration for imaging algorithms. Abhishek also gained experience as an engineering intern at Google and as an associate software engineer at ST Microelectronics. Abhishek holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University.
