Kareem Abdelhady

Kareem Abdelhady is a Senior Physical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Apple since April 2020. Before this role, Kareem served as a Senior Physical Design Engineer at Synopsys Inc. from October 2016 to March 2020, and prior to that, at IC-Pedia, a contractor for Synopsys Inc., from September 2010 to June 2016, where significant contributions were made to the tape-out of various interface IP PHYs and test chips across different nodes. Kareem also provided mentorship to a team of new engineers and was involved in all stages of physical implementation, including synthesis, scan insertion, place and route (PnR), timing, and physical sign-off. Kareem holds two Bachelor's degrees in Electronic and Communication Engineering and Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ain Shams University, completed between 2005 and 2010.
