Shishir Pagad

Shishir Pagad is a seasoned engineer with significant experience in computer vision and perception, having worked at Apple from February 2020 to October 2022 in roles including Senior Computer Vision Engineer and Computer Vision Engineer. Prior to this, Shishir was employed at NIO from May 2017 to February 2020 as a Perception Engineer, specializing in localization and mapping, during which an algorithm developed for object removal from point cloud maps was accepted for ICRA 2020. Early career roles included a Computer Vision Intern focusing on augmented reality and self-parking technologies for autonomous vehicles, as well as serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where work included developing software for synchronized imaging in motion capture. Shishir holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from B. V. B College of Engineering and Technology.
