Vladlen Koltun

Vladlen Koltun is a distinguished computer science professional with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a Distinguished Scientist at Apple since August 2021, Vladlen previously held the position of Chief Scientist for Intelligent Systems at Intel Corporation from October 2019 to August 2021. At Intel Labs, Vladlen was the Director of the Intelligent Systems Lab and the Visual Computing Lab, contributing as a Senior Principal Researcher and Principal Researcher, respectively. Prior to this, Vladlen was a Senior Research Scientist at Adobe from June 2013 to December 2014, and an Assistant Professor at Stanford University from July 2005 to December 2013. Vladlen completed a PhD in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University, where Vladlen also earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
