Yizhe Zhang

Yizhe Zhang is a Staff Research Scientist at Apple, focusing on fundamental research in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) since June 2022. Previously, Yizhe Zhang served as a Researcher at Facebook AI from September 2021 to June 2022 and held the position of Senior Researcher at Microsoft from May 2017 to September 2021, where work centered on neural conversational agents and natural language generation (NLG). Earlier experience includes a Research Scientist Intern role, enhancing the diversity of neural conversation models, and positions as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Duke University, contributing to advanced machine learning education. Yizhe Zhang holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Statistics from Duke University, completed between 2013 and 2018.
