Marek is technology enthusiast and startup builder. He has 10+ years of experience in business development and project management. Prior to Applico, Marek worked for the European Space Agency and became the youngest Director of space technology startup incubator in Europe, where he helped to build more than 15 successful startups and raised $10+ mil. USD in private capital. One of the companies - Maptiler - has an ambition to become a serious competitor to Google Maps, with its service already reaching 200+ mil. users monthly.

Marek started his career as a business analyst in private equity fund ECPI, operating in Europe. He holds MA in Political Economy from Charles University.
