Michael George

Michael George is an experienced professional in paleontology and geology, currently serving as the Fossil Collections Manager and Fossil Preparer and Paleontology Consultant at the Fossil Discovery Center of Madera County since February 2016. In addition, Michael holds the position of Paleontological Monitor at Applied EarthWorks, Inc. since July 2019 and is a Board Member of the San Joaquin Valley Paleontology Foundation since August 2018. Michael obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Stanislaus State Continuing and Professional Education between 2014 and 2018, and an Associate of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from Merced Junior College from 2006 to 2014.
