David Knop

Vice President, Process Development at Applied Genetics Technologies Corporation

David Knop has an extensive work experience in the biotech industry. David started their career as a Cooperative Education Student at Dow Corning in 1992. David then progressed to various roles at different companies, including Scientist II at AGTC from 2004 to 2006, Associate Director and Director of Process Development from 2006 to 2014, Senior Director of Process Development from 2014 to 2015, Executive Director of Process Development from 2015 to 2020, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Process Development at AGTC. Throughout their career, they have been involved in various aspects of process development, manufacturing, and clinical programs in the field of gene therapy.

David Knop pursued their education from 1994 to 2002. David attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University in 1996. Later, they went on to complete their Doctorate in (Bio)Chemical Engineering from the same university in 2002.
