Sufiya Patel

Sufiya Patel has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sufiya is currently serving as the Commercial Director at Applied Information Group, a role they assumed in July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Business Development Manager at the same company from October 2020 to July 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Sufiya served as the Managing Director of WorkWild, a social enterprise consultancy specializing in creating high impact places through effective social engagement. In this role, they developed and implemented strategic direction, incorporating a triple-bottom line approach to work. Sufiya's earlier experiences include being the Operations Manager at Arrival Education from November 2007 to April 2010, the Senior Admissions & Information Manager at South Thames College from September 2007 to January 2008, and a Corporate Trainer at EV Ltd from February 2007 to December 2007.

Sufiya also worked as a Project Manager at London Aimhigher from March 2006 to December 2006, where they focused on increasing students from non-traditional backgrounds to continue to higher education.

Sufiya's first work experience was as a Partnerships Officer at the University of Westminster from January 2004 to March 2006. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining partnership programs with feeder institutions and played a key role in collaborative FE/HE work.

Sufiya Patel attended Leyton Sixth Form College from 1996 to 1998. Sufiya did not obtain a degree or study a specific field of study during this time. Following their time at Leyton Sixth Form College, they pursued their higher education at the University of Oxford from 1998 to 2001. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Jurisprudence (Law).

In addition to their educational qualifications, Sufiya Patel obtained a certification in DSDM Agile Project Management (Practitioner) from APMG-International in October 2015.
