Kay Herrmann

Kay Herrmann has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering industry since 1995. Kay began their career as a Corporate Student at Robert Bosch, then moved to Software Engineer positions at Blaupunkt (Robert Bosch) and Robert Bosch India. In 2002, they joined Delphi as a Lead Systems Engineer, and was later promoted to Technical Manager of Active Safety. In 2015, they moved to Aptiv, where they held the roles of Manager Systems, Process & Quality and Technical Manager of Automated Vehicles. In 2020, they became Director - Systems Engineering at Motional, where they are currently responsible for building all Systems Engineering processes for the launch of a pioneering autonomous mobility-on-demand Robotaxi.

Kay Herrmann obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA from The Open University between 2001 and 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Diplom-Ingenieur (BA) in Electrical Engineering/ Telecommunications from Berufsakademie Stuttgart between 1995 and 1998.
