Kimon Roufas

Kimon Roufas has a long and varied work history. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Research Engineer in Robotics for Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). In 2005, they founded and became CEO of AdProphet, Inc. In 2006, they began working at Yahoo!, Inc. as a Director of Product Management for Search & Display Ads, and later as a Senior Product Manager. In 2012, they co-founded and became CEO of Fourleaf Networks Inc. In 2017, they founded and became CTO of Level 5 Labs, Inc., delivering magic with robots and deep neural networks. In 2020, they founded and became CTO of Enlighten Robotics, and also became Autonomy Technical Lead for DoorDash Labs. Finally, in 2022, they will become Head of Echelon for Applied Intuition.

Kimon Roufas has a diverse educational background. Kimon holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, two MS degrees from Stanford University in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, they have a certificate in Machine Learning from Coursera, obtained in March 2017.
